In today’s fast-moving industrial production lines, machine vision systems have become the “intelligent eyes” of automation -- enabling defect inspection, precision measurement, and robotic guidance. Beyond factories, service robots also rely on compact, high-performance vision to navigate complex environments, interact safely with humans, and deliver reliable assistance. These scenarios pose demanding challenges: micron-level defect detection, millisecond-level response times, stable operation under harsh conditions, and seamless integration into mobile platforms. Traditional optical solutions are approaching their physical limits. Heptagon addresses these challenges through advanced Wafer-Level Optics (WLO) and Wafer-Level Stacking (WLS) technologies. By integrating complex lens systems into ultra-compact wafer-scale modules, we break through spatial constraints and deliver diffraction-limit optical performance for compact industrial cameras, embedded sensors, and robotic vision modules -- laying a solid optical foundation for next-generation inspection, metrology, and autonomous systems.
